Background on Alek Golijanin and the DocConnect initiative

I think this highlights a big issue with founder interviews in general: they tend to focus on the person, not the performance of their project. It’s fine to get inspired, but when evaluating a platform like DocConnect, we need hard evidence of usage, efficiency, and scalability. I’m still looking for that.

Does anyone know if DocConnect is still being updated or maintained? The college project seems to date from a specific term, and I haven’t seen current news about it being actively promoted. That would be another clue about whether it’s a living project or just an idea that hasn’t moved much beyond concept.

The founder profile mentions international work and tech for community building, which is good context, but I want to see practical evidence of community impact for DocConnect itself. Profiles help humanize founders, but results help users evaluate real value.
