Lately I’ve noticed a lot of people getting caught up in flashy companies that look legit on the surface but fall apart once you dig deeper. Thought this would be a good thread to share how we all research a company before trusting them whether it’s for business, investment, or even basic services.

What’s the first thing you usually check?
Do you look at their registration details, reviews, past complaints, or maybe the team behind the company?

Have you ever spotted something suspicious like inconsistent info, no real team members, fake addresses, or unusual payment demands — and decided to back out just in time?

Also, what’s your go-to method to verify if a company is actually operating or just pretending to?

Drop your tips, red flags you’ve seen, or tools you rely on. Could be really helpful for anyone trying to avoid getting tied up with shady organizations.
